Helpful Hints: How Often Should We Wash The Car?

The personal car needs constant maintenance. Overhauls, checks, repairs if necessary. But most of us do not consider the ordinary washing of the car a maintenance operation, but a chore to go through when the car is very dirty.

Washing your personal or business car is an operation that should be done, as a general rule, at least twice a month. We are talking about cleaning and sanitizing both the exterior and the interior of the car we use daily.

Of course, the way we use the car or the location we live in can influence the degree of dirt and then the number of monthly washes can vary. Also, in winter, when the roads are dirty and full of salt, it is advisable to wash the car after any longer road, the salt accumulated on the road being harmful to the paint and body.

We must not ignore the bird manure, as it can be extremely corrosive, not to mention unsightly, on any car. If we are unlucky enough to find our car covered with bird deposits, a visit to the laundry is extremely necessary. If we do not have time, we can try to remove the deposits as soon as possible with a roll of towels and a solution for cleaning windows.

In summer, the long roads leave our car full of dead insects in the front and windshield. Again, it is advisable to clean the insect tracks as soon as possible at a pressure wash. Also in summer, we can find the car covered with a kind of sap secreted by certain trees, especially lindens. Of course, a visit to the laundry is necessary to remove the sap.

And finally, the dust from the urban environment, which is deposited almost immediately on any car, must also be constantly removed.

We must not forget the inside of the car. We can also clean it ourselves, with the help of a vacuum cleaner that removes hair, traces of food, leaves and any other elements that have gotten inside the car.
